When Manoj took a dig at Dharmendra and Shashi

Manoj Kumar, a celebrated actor-filmmaker, chose selective projects, appearing in only around 80 films. He explained his decision stemmed from not being a ‘greedy film person,’ unlike contemporaries who acted in many more movies. Kumar’s impactful career, marked by patriotic themes and strong storytelling, saw him step away from acting in 1995 and direct his final film in 1999.
